1. Deepening Theological Formation

St. Andrew’s Hall is expanding access to theological education that is rigorous, Reformed, and responsive. We equip not only future pastors but also lay leaders, ruling elders, and global partners for enduring Christian witness.

  • Theology and the Arts: Creative, contextual approaches that connect study with leadership practice.
  • CML Fellows: Adding diverse “pracademics” whose wisdom bridges church, academy, and world.
  • Public Theology Initiatives: Faculty-led research, teaching, and digital publications that bring theological reflection into the public square.

 

2. Equipping Missional Leaders

We equip ordained and lay leaders to carry theological training into real contexts of ministry and mission. Unlike programs that stop at academic preparation, SAH walks with leaders to help them embody theology in service, forming witnesses who translate faith into practice. Our initiatives include:

  • Certificate in Missional Leadership: One-year, cohort-based program integrating classroom learning, coaching, and congregational engagement.
  • Guder Scholars & Weekend Intensives: Immersive opportunities for early- and mid-career leaders to explore Gospel, culture, and church as lived realities.
  • Digital Apprenticeships & Hybrid Pathways: Accessible platforms for bi-vocational and remote leaders, enabling them to serve faithfully in their own ministry settings.

 

3. Hospitality that Forms Leaders

Our housing ministry is about more than providing rooms. It cultivates a community where hospitality becomes formation. Within our walls, students experience daily rhythms of fellowship, prayer, and welcome that prepare them for lifelong Christian witness and leadership. This ministry includes

  • Chaplaincy & Peer Support: Anchoring students in prayer, presence, and accompaniment.
  • Shared Meals & Table-Based Ministry: Meeting practical needs while building relationships that extend Christian witness across UBC and beyond.
  • Hospitality Lab: A pioneering approach to residence life—transforming housing into a setting for leadership development, spiritual growth, and deep community.
